Tuesday: Great Wall and Acrobats!

On Tuesday, I had a driver pick us up bright and early to drive to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. This is the same place I took Mom in March. The weather was not very nice this time though so we didn't get to ride the slide down. Looking back at my pictures from March you can see such a difference in the landscape from winter to summer.

After riding the chairlift back down off the Great Wall, we walked along to see what the hawkers were selling. We tried some dried fruit just as the skies opened up and dumped rain.

We had lunch at the Schoolhouse Restaurant before heading back to town. Dad ordered the Working Man's Noodles.

In the evening, we decided to go see the Beijing Acrobats. We couldn't take any photos during the show so just take our word for it that it was fantastic! If anyone wants to see it, come visit me!
