I tried to post this earlier and was unsuccessful. Bummer since it was very eloquent and informative and now I just don't have it in me to try as hard. Okay, I'll give it another go and this time I will Ctrl C before I try to publish.
Well, I have my one-way, non-stop ticket to Beijing! I leave on August 14th. The school is providing an apartment for me at Beijing Riviera in Maple Place. The school where I will be working is huge and has so many resources for the students. These kids have all sorts of activities such as aeronautics, swimming, rock climbing, etc. The teachers all run these activities after school and I will be in charge of an arts & crafts group. I guess that gives me an excuse to bring my arty stuff with me to China!
