JingShan Park and Surrounding Area

Mom and I headed down to JingShan Park near the Forbidden City after school on Thursday. The blossoms are all beginning to come out. Unfortunately the air was not nearly as good as it was a few days before. The view was okay, but it could have been so much better.

There is a great view after climbing the mountain in the park of the Forbidden City. (Better on a less smoggy day.)

We left the park and walked along the street near the Forbidden City.

Friday, Mom's last day in Beijing, we headed over to the Dirt Market (and the Pearl Market, Silk Market, and .....). We found out that the Dirt Market is a little slow during the week. Next time she comes out, I will take her to the Dirt Market on the weekend. On this trip, we were just too busy on the weekends!
